Hello everyone

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I don't like writing journals or blogs too much but I'll try to tell you sth interesting ^^

I have only one week and 2 days of holidays left

don't know my time table yet but I'll surely have some stupid things to study this year :/ How much I hate them! and what's more I have to train myself as a teacher... I have to teach at school

The problem is that I'm a bit afraid of kids

I know it sounds silly but it's true! I'm afraid that they will ask me about sth and I may not know what to answer... Or they may laugh at me for some reason and I'm too shy to be laught at by some kids

Hope I'll teach little children (7-9 years) beacuse they'd be more afraid of me than I am of them

But it's not all! My

is leaving at the beginning of this school year too

he's going to study in a far far away place called Cracov... It's so damn far far away! ;_;

Hope you'll help me get through the hardest period of time (it will probably start in the middle of October :/)

Is it spelt Krakow? Just I actually went there a year ago. If it's any consolation, it's a great place, really sweet.

omg - you are such a talented family *me wants to get adopted*

and i can so feel with you on the rest. i started working with kids as well. i am a social worker in a youthcenter but just finished my studies so a pretty fresh one XD yea yea, and i was afraid of working with them - maybe i can share a bit or my experience so far with you so maybe you can relax a bit more (dont know if here is the right place but thats where i am going to write it now

)

for me i was also afraid of me not being able to answer them rightly when they ask - or dont know something they want to know. well, i found out that being honest with them is the best way to do it - and they really appreciate it and see you are human and not some robot

with this i mean - if you dont have the answer straight away tell them >hey, this is a really good question and i am not sure myself - why dont we all look that up together now< or whatever suits for the situation. i mean - you cant know everything and being honest about this should bring you closer to them. this doesnt matter btw if you work with little kids or teenagers. teenagers are sometimes a bit more sceptical about adults at the beginning than kids but once they see that you are actually listening to what they have to say/ask and really want to help them, they are all cool ^^
i know teaching is different from my job - but maybe this helps a little bit

and about your love going far far away.... T_T

there's not more anyone could do.... it's crap being seperated. skype and headset can make it more bareable though (especially for your financial situation

)
