I did it!
 Although I didn't manage to make an illustration on the previous month's topic for  I did the one for this month's ^^ it's underwater This is my first oil painting of my little faeries and I'm very proud of it   If you want to see close-ups go here If you want to see it kinda 'in progress' go here although you can hardly see anything  oils on paper (a bit bigger than A4) 26 June 2007 They are so CUTE!  Comments Simply gorgeous! I love the simplicity of the characters and thow doll-like they look. You've used the oils so well, considering how difficult it is as a meduim, it's such a success!

!!!! -- =^-^=   This is really nice, congrats on your first fairy oil painting! ^^ The colors in this are very charming. I love the highlights on the walls and that little umbrella in the corner is too cute. I love the simplicity of the fairies. You managed to give them a very whimsical expression without giving them facial features (I'm glad you didn't!). Their hair and pink blush look very nice.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
