It's not really a monotype, it's an offset but I couldn't find this category
This is one of my works which I did during this term in, let's call it, Printing Studio At the beginning I thought I would add some faeries here and there but my schoolmate told me that for the one time I may manage without them Hope you like it ^^ offset about 50 X 70 cm March 2007 Daily DeviationGiven 2008-08-05Offset printing is an oft-overlooked medium, but Into the sky really takes advantage of the artistic opportunities it creates. *Adelaida, by using a monotone palette and the manipulation of negative space, guides the eye into a really visually appetizing scene. This is brilliant Adelaida! Your friend was right about not adding the fairies.... the single spider adds just the perfect amount detail... turns it from a picture of some piles of dishes to a picture with an exciting story behind it. I would love to see you do more in this style and with this medium.
What an adventurous spider! The simplicity is what makes this work, so I'm glad you didn't add more detail.
